Students and staff at Corby’s Lodge Park Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust have been collecting non-perishable foods as part of their monthly donation to Corby foodbank.
Lodge Park Academy has been running its community initiative successfully for over a year.
Students from all year groups within the secondary school brought in a number of items to be donated to the charity, which helps local people who are in a state of crisis.
Robert Sloan, Executive Principal at Lodge Park Academy, said: “We are extremely pleased to see our students taking so much pride in helping the local community.
“We have been overwhelmed with the response and generosity of our students and parents in supporting such an important local cause.”
