Martyn Oliver is the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT). Martyn joined OGAT in 2009 and was appointed as Chief Executive in 2016.
Martyn leads one of the country’s oldest and highest performing multi-academy trusts which currently has 33 academies – 23 secondaries and 10 primaries – in the Tees Valley, Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regions. OGAT is a System Trust and has spent the last decade supporting the wider school system. The Outwood Institute of Education (OIE) is a large multi-hub teaching school alliance within OGAT where annually, hundreds of schools and thousands of teachers and educational professionals are trained.
Martyn is a board member of the Department for Education’s Opportunity North East and trustee of the Confederation of School Trusts (CST).
