Friday, October 20, 2017

Talented students at Loughborough’s Charnwood College, part of the David Ross Education Trust, put on a dazzling performance at their annual dance show.

More than 120 students from Year 7 to Year 13 showcased their talents through a variety of dance techniques, including break dancing and commercial performances.

Particular highlights from this year’s show included a number of GCSE street dances and A Level contemporary pieces.

Dan Neal, Principal at Charnwood College, said: “Our students have put in an incredible amount of hard work into their performances and they delivered a fantastic show.

“Opportunities like performing at our annual dance show, and working closely with a number of professionals from the Rambert Contemporary Dance Company, the Royal Ballet and the Shakespeare School Festival on a regular basis, enables our students to experience first-hand what they can achieve to explore their passions and discover new talents.”
