Rebecca Steed

Academy Improvement Lead - Primary

I joined the Trust in April 2014 and am currently the joint Academy Improvement Lead for Primary.

As a System Leader, my role involves providing training, support and challenge to the headteachers, senior leadership teams, staff and governors across our cluster in order to ensure the best quality education for all children.

During my time at the David Ross Education Trust, I am incredibly proud to have taken Rockingham Primary School from Requires Improvement to Good in under two years.

I firmly believe that children have the entitlement to a broad, stimulating and personalised curriculum, which will be both challenging and will recognise and value success at all levels. Seeing them becoming confident individuals, who enjoy and value learning; respect themselves and others and who have the strength and flexibility to succeed in the life ahead of them are just some of the things that make education special.
