Chris Steed

Academy Improvement Lead - Secondary

I joined the Trust in 2013, and am currently the Academy Improvement Lead for secondary academies across the Midlands area.

As a System Leader, my role involves providing training, support and challenge to the headteachers, senior leadership teams, staff and governors across our cluster in order to ensure the best quality education for all students.

In my position as Principal at the Trust’s largest secondary academy, I am incredibly proud to have led the team that brought the academy out of an Ofsted category of inadequate, and secured the best A Level and GCSE results in recent history.

It is a privilege to work as part of a team that believes that every student can achieve, no matter what their starting point. Every day I see the life changing impact of the opportunities that the David Ross Education Trust provides, from sport to music and the arts, it has an incredible impact on the young people at our academies.
